1. Where We Use AI

We use AI in two distinct ways, and we keep them separate.

(a) Inside some products. Certain products use AI or machine-learning techniques as part of their functionality. Where a product's core behavior depends on AI, we say so on that product's pages and, where applicable, in its own terms. By contrast, several of our products contain no AI in the data path at all — for example, Filingrail returns structured SEC EDGAR data, SanctionRail performs deterministic fuzzy-matching against published OFAC lists, and ReDoScan applies static analysis to regular expressions. Those products return data and analysis, not AI-generated opinions.

(b) In how we build and operate. We use AI development tools to help write software, draft documentation and marketing copy, and run internal operations. A human at Hudson Enterprises is responsible for what we ship. AI assists our work; it does not have final authority over it.

2. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content

Some text, code samples, and images on this website and in our product documentation are generated or assisted by AI and then reviewed by us. AI systems can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. We aim to review what we publish, but you should not treat website or documentation content as professional, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Where a statement matters to a decision you are making, verify it against the authoritative source.

3. AI Features in Products — Your Responsibility and No Reliance

Where a product uses AI, the AI output is one input to your decision and is not a substitute for your own judgment or for any verification that law, regulation, or prudent practice requires. You acknowledge and agree that:

1. AI output can be wrong, biased, incomplete, or fabricated ("hallucinated"), and can change between runs even for the same input;
2. you are solely responsible for independently reviewing and verifying AI output before relying on or acting on it, especially for decisions with legal, financial, compliance, safety, or similar consequences;
3. you must not use an AI feature as your sole or final control where independent verification is required; and
4. you assume all risk arising from your use of, or reliance on, AI output.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, ON THE SAME TERMS AS THE REST OF THE SERVICES DESCRIBED IN OUR TERMS OF SERVICE.

4. Your Data and AI Training

We do not sell your data, and we do not use the limited personal data described in our Privacy Policy to train AI models. Where a product processes data you submit (for example, a name you screen or a regular expression you scan), that processing is governed by the product's own terms and privacy statement; we do not use your submitted data to train models unless a product's own terms expressly say so and give you a choice.

Some products rely on third-party AI providers to deliver an AI feature. Where that is the case, your inputs to that feature may be processed by the third-party provider under its terms; we identify the relevant provider in the product's documentation or terms. Our data products that contain no AI in the data path (Filingrail, SanctionRail, ReDoScan) do not send your queries to any AI provider.

5. Third-Party AI Tools and Trademarks

When we build with third-party AI development tools, we use them under those tools' own terms. References to third-party products or marks are for identification only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
